Tiffany & Co for Condé Nast Traveller
An homage to the Kennedy’s - Tiffany jewels in Los Angeles for Condé Nast Traveller’s December 2024 watches & jewellery special.
They say the perfect brief doesn’t exist, but this came pretty close. A Jackie Kennedy and Lee Radziwill inspired jewellery shoot at the famous Beverly Estate which featured in The Godfather, The Bodyguard and my favourite, The Jerk!.
The reality of the logistics was slightly less than perfect - Tiffany & Co. had hired the whole place for the launch of the collection we were there to shoot. Alongside out shoot there were 3 other editorial shoots happening, Tiffany were setting up for a huge influencer’s launch event and much of the estate and house were midway through event construction with lights, gazebos, stages being built and Tiffany blue carpets being installed. Add crippling jetlag, lack of sleep, tight security, competition for the jewellery and one day to shoot 10 looks to the equation and it was not the most relaxing day I’ve ever had.
Luckily we had an amazing crew and a fantastic model who totally got the brief, so it was a lot of fun crammed into 36 blurry hours. We were home before we even knew we’d gone. I’m delighted with the results and can’t wait to shoot more fashion and jewellery in future.
